IGNITION COIL AND SPARK PLUG INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL SPARK PLUG

   1. Using a 14 mm spark plug wrench, install the 3 spark plugs to the cylinder head sub-assembly.

      20 N*m

      204 kgf*cm

      15 ft.*lbf

      Note:

      If a spark plug has been struck or dropped, replace it.

      Tip:

      Install the same parts to their original positions.

2. INSTALL NO. 1 IGNITION COIL

   1. Install the 3 No. 1 ignition coils to the cylinder head cover sub-assembly with the 3 bolts.

      8.9 N*m

      91 kgf*cm

      79 in.*lbf

      Note:

      If a No. 1 ignition coil has been struck or dropped, replace it.

      Tip:

      Install the same parts to their original positions.

   2. Connect the 3 No. 1 ignition coil connectors.
