CAMSHAFT OIL CONTROL VALVE INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY (for Bank 1)


    1. A01E2SBE01

      Apply a light coat of engine oil to a new O-ring of the oil control valve.

    2. A01DVZN

      Install the oil control valve with the bolt.

      Torque:
      9.0 N*m  { 92 kgf*cm, 80 in.*lbf }

      Note

      Be careful that the O-ring is not cracked when installing the oil control valve.

    3. Connect the camshaft timing oil control valve connector.

  2. INSTALL CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY (for Bank 2)


    1. A01E2SBE01

      Apply a light coat of engine oil to a new O-ring of the oil control valve.

    2. A01DW9L

      Install the oil control valve with the bolt.

      Torque:
      9.0 N*m  { 92 kgf*cm, 80 in.*lbf }

      Note

      Be careful that the O-ring is not cracked when installing the oil control valve.

    3. Connect the oil control valve connector.

  3. INSTALL THROTTLE BODY


    1. Install a new gasket to the intake air surge tank.

    2. Install the throttle motor connector.

      Torque:
      11 N*m  { 112 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf }

  4. INSTALL AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY

    Torque:
    8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }

  5. INSTALL NO. 2 VENTILATION HOSE

  6. INSTALL V-BANK COVER

    Torque:
    7.5 N*m  { 76 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf }

  7. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  8. PERFORM INITIALIZATION


    1. Perform initialization Click here.

      Note

      Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal
