REAR BUMPER INSTALLATION

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

Tip:

A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart (Click here).

PROCEDURE

  1. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE SEAL LH

    1. Install the rear bumper side seal with the grommet, nut and 3 clips.

  2. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE SEAL RH

    1. Install the rear bumper side seal with the grommet, nut and 2 clips.

  3. INSTALL REAR UPPER BUMPER RETAINER LH

    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the rear upper bumper retainer.

    2. Install the screw.

  4. INSTALL REAR UPPER BUMPER RETAINER RH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  5. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH

    1. Attach the 3 claws to install the rear bumper side retainer.

    2. Install the 2 screws.

  6. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  7. INSTALL REAR BUMPER ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

    1. Install the rear bumper arm with the 3 bolts.

      12 N*m

      122 kgf*cm

      9 ft.*lbf

  8. INSTALL REAR BUMPER ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  9. INSTALL NO. 1 REAR BUMPER REINFORCEMENT

    1. Install the rear bumper reinforcement with the 8 bolts.

      12 N*m

      122 kgf*cm

      9 ft.*lbf

  10. INSTALL REAR BUMPER COVER

    1. w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System:

      Connect the No. 4 floor wire connector.

    2. Attach the 10 claws to install the rear bumper cover.

    3. Install the 5 clips and 2 bolts.

    4. Install the screw.

      Tip:

      Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  11. INSTALL NO. 1 FLOOR UNDER COVER

    1. Install the No. 1 floor under cover with the 5 clips.
