FRONT CONSOLE BOX DISASSEMBLY

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.

PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR SUB-ASSEMBLY (except Slide Console Type)

    Plastic-faced Hammer

    Shaft

    1. Using a plastic-faced hammer, tap the shaft in lightly and then pull it out from the rear console box sub-assembly.

      Remove the 2 bushes and console compartment door sub-assembly.

  2. REMOVE CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Slide Console Type)

      Remove the 4 screws and console compartment door sub-assembly.

  3. REMOVE CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 2 screws and console compartment door lock sub-assembly from the console compartment door sub-assembly.

  4. REMOVE SHIFTING HOLE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transaxle)

      Detach the 4 hooks and remove the shifting hole cover sub-assembly from the upper console panel sub-assembly.
