POWER WINDOW CONTROL SYSTEM(w/o Jam Protection Function) OPERATION CHECK

  1. CHECK WINDOW LOCK SWITCH

    Tip:

    Before performing the window lock switch operation check, make sure that the window lock switch is off (the switch is not pushed in).

    1. Check that the front passenger and rear windows cannot be operated when the window lock switch of the power window regulator master switch assembly is pushed in.

      OK

      Front passenger and rear windows are disabled.

    2. Check that the front passenger and rear windows can be operated when the window lock switch of the power window regulator master switch assembly is pushed again.

      OK

      Front passenger and rear windows operate normally.

  2. CHECK MANUAL UP/DOWN FUNCTION

    1. Check that the driver door power window operates as follows:

      1. Check that the LED located in the power window regulator master switch assembly illuminates when the ignition switch is turned to ON.
