The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.
PROCEDURE
REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH
REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH
REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for LHD)
REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RHD)
REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH
REMOVE PARKING ASSIST ECU
for LHD:
Remove the front floor carpet assembly front.
Note
It is not necessary to fully remove the floor carpet. Partially remove it so that the parking assist ECU can be removed in a later step.
Remove in this Direction |
Detach the wire harness clamp and remove the wire harness from the connector holder.
Disconnect the 3 connectors.
Remove the 2 bolts.

Move the parking assist ECU in the direction of the arrow in the illustration and remove the hook.
Detach the wire harness clamp and remove the parking assist ECU.
for RHD:
Detach the wire harness clamp and remove the wire harness from the connector holder.
Disconnect the 3 connectors.
Remove the 2 bolts.
