Before replacing the hybrid vehicle control ECU, refer to Service Bulletin.
REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY
REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY
REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY
REMOVE HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY
Disconnect the 4 connectors.
Remove the bolt, nut and hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly.
Note
Do not drop the hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly, strike it with tools or subject it to impact.
If the hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly is subjected to an impact, replace it with a new one.
