DTC Code | DTC Name |
---|---|
C1AAA | FCM Destination Information Uninitialized |
DESCRIPTION
When a new pre-crash safety city sensor is installed, it receives and stores vehicle destination information from the main body ECU (Instrument panel junction block assembly). If the pre-crash safety city sensor cannot receive vehicle destination information from the main body ECU (instrument panel junction block assembly) and vehicle information is not stored, DTC C1AAA is output.
DTC Code | DTC Detection Condition | Trouble Area |
---|---|---|
C1AAA | When the ignition switch is ON and the system is operating, vehicle information in the pre-crash safety city sensor is unconfirmed |
|
CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT
Note
As the door control battery is installed between the vehicle battery and main body ECU (instrument panel junction block assembly), first perform the inspections in On-Vehicle Inspection to confirm that there are no malfunctions in the power source circuit for the main body ECU (instrument panel junction block assembly) before performing this troubleshooting procedure Click here.
When replacing the pre-crash safety city sensor, replace it with a new one and be sure to initialize the settings. If an ECU which was installed to another vehicle is used, the information stored in the pre-crash safety city sensor will not match the information from the vehicle and, as a result, a DTC may be output.
When the pre-crash safety city sensor is replaced with a new one or it is removed, camera beam axis learning must be performed.
Since CAN communication is used, first perform the communication function check in "How to Proceed with Troubleshooting" to confirm that there are no communication malfunctions before proceeding with troubleshooting.
