PROCEDURE
DISCHARGE FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE
PRECAUTION
Note
After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work.
DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Note
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
REMOVE THROTTLE BODY WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY
DISCONNECT NO. 1 FUEL HOSE
Disconnect the No. 1 fuel hose.
DISCONNECT NO. 2 FUEL HOSE
Disconnect the No. 2 fuel hose.
REMOVE FUEL PRESSURE PULSATION DAMPER ASSEMBLY
REMOVE FUEL DELIVERY PIPE WITH FUEL INJECTOR ASSEMBLY
Disconnect the 4 wire harness clamps.
Disconnect the 4 injector connectors.
Disconnect the purge VSV connector.
Remove the vacuum hose.
Remove the 2 bolts and fuel delivery pipe together with the 4 fuel injector assemblies.
Note
Be careful not to drop the fuel injectors when removing the fuel delivery pipe.

Remove the 2 No. 1 delivery pipe spacers.
Remove the 4 injector vibration insulators.
Using a screwdriver, remove the 4 spacers.
Tech Tips
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
Remove the O-ring from the spacer.

Remove the 4 fuel injectors from the fuel delivery pipe.
