PROCEDURE
DRAIN BRAKE FLUID
Note
Immediately wash off any brake fluid that comes into contact with any painted surfaces.
REMOVE BATTERY
REMOVE BATTERY TRAY
REMOVE BATTERY CARRIER
DISCONNECT CONNECTOR
Release the lock lever and disconnect the brake actuator connector.
Note
Be careful not to allow brake fluid to enter the removed connector.
REMOVE BRAKE TUBE
Using union nut wrench (10 mm), separate the brake tube from the front flexible hose LH.
Separate the grommet from the body.
Using union nut wrench, separate the 2 brake tubes from the front No. 1 brake tube way.

Using union nut wrench, separate the 6 brake tubes from the brake actuator.
Disconnect the brake tube clamp.
REMOVE BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY (except CVT)
Remove the 3 bolts and brake actuator with bracket from the side member.
Note
Do not damage the brake tubes or wire harness.
REMOVE BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY (for CVT)
Remove the 3 bolts and brake actuator with bracket from the No. 1 brake actuator bracket.
REMOVE BRAKE ACTUATOR BRACKET ASSEMBLY
Remove the 3 bolts and brake actuator bracket assembly.
REMOVE NO. 1 BRAKE ACTUATOR BRACKET (for CVT)
Remove the 3 bolts and No. 1 brake actuator bracket from the side member.
REMOVE BRAKE ACTUATOR CASE COLLAR
Remove the 3 brake actuator case collars from the brake actuator bolt cushion.
REMOVE BRAKE ACTUATOR BOLT CUSHION
Remove the 3 brake actuator bolt cushions from the brake actuator bracket assembly.
