PROCEDURE
REMOVE DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY (w/ Deck Board)
Remove the deck board assembly.
REMOVE REAR FLOOR MAT ASSEMBLY
Remove the rear floor mat assembly.
REMOVE REAR DECK FLOOR BOX (w/ Deck Floor Box)
Disengage the guide to remove the rear deck floor box.
REMOVE DECK FLOOR BOX LH (w/ Deck Floor Box)
w/o Woofer:
Remove the 2 nuts.
Disengage the claw to remove the deck floor box LH.
w/ Woofer:
Remove the nut.
Disengage the claw to remove the deck floor box LH.
REMOVE DECK FLOOR BOX RH (w/ Deck Floor Box)
Remove the 2 nuts and deck floor box RH.
REMOVE PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY (w/ Package Tray Trim)
Remove the package tray trim panel assembly.
REMOVE REAR DECK TRIM COVER
for Clip Type:
Turn the 2 clips in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration to remove them.
for Hook Type:
Remove the 2 bolts.
Disengage the 2 guides to remove the 2 luggage hold belt striker assemblies.
w/o Deck Board:
Disengage the 4 claws, 4 clips and 2 guides to remove the rear deck trim cover.
w/ Deck Board:
Disengage the 4 claws, 4 clips and 4 guides to remove the rear deck trim cover.
REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY
REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH
Disengage the 10 claws to remove the front door scuff plate LH.
REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD LH
Remove the clip.
Disengage the claw and clip to remove the cowl side trim board LH.
REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH
Remove the front door opening trim weatherstrip LH.
REMOVE FRONT PILLAR GARNISH LH

Pull the upper part of the front pillar garnish LH toward the inside of the cabin and disengage the front pillar garnish LH from the base of the 2 clips.
Tech Tips
Let the front pillar garnish LH hang from the front pillar garnish clip.

Using needle-nose pliers with the tips wrapped with protective tape, rotate the front pillar garnish clip 90° in the direction indicated by the arrow (1) shown in the illustration.
Pull the front pillar garnish LH in the direction indicated by the arrow (2) shown in the illustration to disengage it from the front pillar garnish clip.
Note
A front pillar garnish clip is reusable if it is not removed from the vehicle and have is not damaged.
Replace the front pillar garnish clip with a new one if it is removed from the vehicle.
Pull the front pillar garnish LH in the direction indicated by the arrow (3) shown in the illustration to disengage the 3 guides and remove the front pillar garnish LH.

Protect the curtain shield airbag assembly LH.
Cover the curtain shield airbag assembly LH with a piece of cloth or nylon and secure the edges of the cover with tape as shown in the illustration.
Note
Cover the curtain shield airbag assembly LH with a protective cover as soon as the front pillar garnish is removed.
REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH
Disengage the 8 claws to remove the rear door scuff plate LH.
REMOVE REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH
Remove the rear door opening trim weatherstrip LH.
REMOVE LAP BELT OUTER ANCHOR COVER (for LH Side)
DISCONNECT FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH
REMOVE CENTER PILLAR LOWER GARNISH LH
Disengage the 2 claws, 3 clips and 2 guides to remove the center pillar lower garnish LH.
REMOVE CENTER PILLAR GARNISH ASSEMBLY LH
Remove the 2 screws.
Disengage the clip.
Pass the floor anchor of the front seat outer belt assembly LH through the center pillar garnish assembly LH to remove it.
Remove the clip from the center pillar garnish assembly LH.
REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

Loosen the bolt to remove the rear seatback hinge sub-assembly LH.
REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH LH
Disengage the 5 claws and 2 clips to remove the rear seat side garnish LH.
REMOVE NO. 2 DECK SIDE TRIM HOOK (for LH Side)
Remove the screw.
Disengage the pin to remove the No. 2 deck side trim hook.
REMOVE LOWER DECK TRIM SIDE BOARD LH (w/ Deck Board)
Disengage the guide to remove the lower deck trim side board LH.
REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY LH

Using a clip remover, disengage the clip and guide to remove the deck trim service hole cover.
Tech Tips
Tape the clip remover tip before use.
for Hook Type:
Remove the bolt.
Disengage the guide to remove the luggage hold belt striker assembly.
w/ Deck Board:
Remove the clip.
Disengage the 2 clips to remove the deck side trim box LH.
Disengage the 3 claws, 4 clips and 2 guides and disconnect the deck trim side panel assembly LH.
Disconnect the connector to remove the deck trim side panel assembly LH.
REMOVE ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH ASSEMBLY LH
Disengage the 6 clips to remove the roof side inner garnish assembly LH.
Remove the clip (A) from the roof side inner garnish assembly LH.
REMOVE REAR SEATBACK HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

Using a clip remover, disengage the 6 clamps.
for RHD Front Pillar LH Side:
Disconnect the connector.
Using a clip remover, disengage the 5 clamps.
for Front Pillar RH Side:
Disconnect the connector.
Using a clip remover, disengage the 3 clamps.
for Rear Pillar RH Side:
Remove the bolt.
Disengage the guide to disconnect the connector bracket.
Disconnect the connector.

Turn the visor holder approximately 45° and pull it out as shown in the illustration.

Disengage the 2 claws to remove the visor holder.

Using a clip remover, remove the 3 clips.
Disengage the 2 guides.
w/ Vanity Light:
Using a clip remover, remove the 5 clips.
Disengage the 2 guides.
Remove the roof headlining assembly from the vehicle through the back door as shown in the illustration.
Note
Do not damage the roof headlining assembly or vehicle interior.
REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY (for Glass Roof)
w/ EC Mirror:
Disconnect the connector.
w/ Rain Sensor:
Disconnect the connector.
w/ Pre-crash Safety System:
Disconnect each connector.
for LHD Front Pillar LH Side:
Disconnect the connector.
Using a clip remover, disengage the 6 clamps.
for RHD Front Pillar LH Side:
Disconnect the connector.
Using a clip remover, disengage the 5 clamps.
for Front Pillar RH Side:
Disconnect the connector.
Using a clip remover, disengage the 3 clamps.
for Rear Pillar LH Side:
Disconnect the connector.
for Rear Pillar RH Side:
Remove the bolt.
Disengage the guide to disconnect the connector bracket.
Disconnect the connector.

Turn the visor holder approximately 45° and pull it out as shown in the illustration.

Disengage the fasteners from the rear side of the roof headlining assembly.
Pull the roof headlining assembly toward the rear of the vehicle to disengage the guide (B).
Remove the roof headlining assembly from the vehicle through the back door as shown in the illustration.
Note
Do not damage the roof headlining assembly or vehicle interior.
