Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.
The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.
PRECAUTION
Note
After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.
DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Note
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.
REMOVE INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY
Detach the 4 clips.
Disconnect the connector and remove the integration control and panel assembly.
REMOVE RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY
Remove the 4 bolts.
Pull the radio and display receiver assembly to detach the 7 clips on the backside of the radio and display receiver assembly.
Disconnect each connector and remove the radio and display receiver assembly.
REMOVE HAZARD WARNING SIGNAL SWITCH ASSEMBLY
Disconnect the connector.
Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the hazard warning signal switch assembly.
REMOVE HAZARD SWITCH WIRE
Detach the clamp and remove the hazard switch wire.
REMOVE NAVIGATION ECU (w/ Navigation System)
REMOVE NO. 1 RADIO RECEIVER BRACKET
Remove the 3 screws and No. 1 radio receiver bracket.
REMOVE NO. 2 RADIO RECEIVER BRACKET
Remove the 3 screws and No. 2 radio receiver bracket.
REMOVE NO. 3 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY
Detach the 7 claws, 2 guides and remove the No. 3 instrument panel register assembly.
