RADIO RECEIVER REMOVAL


  1. PRECAUTION (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System)

    Note


    • After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work Click here.

    • A Hard Disk Drive (HDD) is built into the radio and display receiver assembly to store multi-media data, and is used for the audio and visual system. Therefore, care must be taken when handling the radio and display receiver assembly.

    • When removing the hard disk drive, eliminate static electricity by touching the vehicle body to prevent components from being damaged.

  2. REMOVE LUGGAGE TRIM SERVICE HOLE COVER (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System)

      Disengage the claw to remove the luggage trim service hole cover.

  3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System)

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  4. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY

  5. REMOVE BOX BOTTOM MAT

      Remove the box bottom mat.

  6. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 2 screws <D> or <E>.

    2. A01HV6V

      Disengage the 4 clips and guide as shown in the illustration.

    3. Disconnect each connector to remove the upper console panel sub-assembly.

  7. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY

      Using a moulding remover, disengage the 2 claws and 2 clips as shown in the illustration.

    2. A01HSUT

      Using a moulding remover, disengage the 2 claws and 2 clips as shown in the illustration.

    3. A01HVNV

      Disengage the 3 claws and 2 clips as shown in the illustration.

    4. A01HSZ6

      Disengage the clamp.

    5. Disconnect the connector to remove the center instrument cluster finish panel assembly.

  8. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY

      Pull the No. 2 instrument panel register assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow to disengage the 6 clips to remove the No. 2 instrument panel register assembly.

  9. REMOVE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY

      Apply protective tape to the areas shown in the illustration.

      Remove the 4 bolts.

    3. A01HUHX

      Pull the radio receiver assembly with air conditioning control assembly toward the rear of the vehicle and disengage the 8 clips.

    4. Disconnect each connector and remove the radio receiver assembly with air conditioning control assembly.

  10. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIO BRACKET


    1. w/o Satellite Radio:

        Remove the 5 screws and No. 1 radio bracket.

    2. w/ Satellite Radio:


      1. A01HTMP

        Remove the 7 screws and No. 1 radio bracket.

  11. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIO BRACKET


    1. w/o Satellite Radio:


      1. A01HVOP

        Remove the 5 screws and No. 2 radio bracket.

    2. w/ Satellite Radio:


      1. A01HW39

        Remove the 7 screws and No. 2 radio bracket.

  12. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY


    1. A01HSYM

      Disengage the 4 clips and guide, and remove the air conditioning control assembly as shown in the illustration.

  13. REMOVE NO. 1 NAVIGATION WIRE (w/ Satellite Radio)

      Disconnect the 6 connectors to remove the No. 1 navigation wire.

  14. REMOVE STEREO COMPONENT TUNER ASSEMBLY (w/ Satellite Radio)

  15. REMOVE RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (w/o Intuitive Parking Assist System)

  16. REMOVE HARD DISK DRIVE (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System)


    1. A01HU3W

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the 2 guides to remove the cover.

    3. A01HUK3

      Pull out the hard disk drive from the navigation receiver assembly or radio and display receiver assembly in the direction shown by the arrow in the illustration to remove it.

  17. REMOVE NAVIGATION ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System)
