The skid control ECU is connected to the combination meter via CAN communication.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
Note
When replacing the brake booster with master cylinder (skid control ECU), perform initialization and calibration of the linear solenoid valve Click here.

CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
Check if a CAN communication system DTC is output Click here.

CHECK BRAKE WARNING LIGHT / RED (MALFUNCTION)
Disconnect the skid control ECU connector.
Turn the power switch on (IG).
Check that the brake warning light / red (malfunction) comes on.

INSPECT COMBINATION METER
Turn the power switch off.
Reconnect the skid control ECU connector.
Perform the Active Test of the combination meter (meter CPU) using the intelligent tester Click here.
Check the combination meter.
