DYNAMIC RADAR CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM


  1. OPERATION


    1. The combination meter assembly has a master warning light, cruise control indicator (constant speed control mode), cruise control indicator (vehicle-to-vehicle distance control mode), cruise SET indicator, buzzer, and multi-information display to provide warnings and messages regarding the dynamic radar cruise control system.

    2. The multi-information display displays the set vehicle speed, vehicle ahead mark, and warning message.

    3. Examples are shown below for the illumination or display of each master warning light or multi-information display.

      • Poor Weather Conditions.

      • Brake control by the dynamic radar cruise control system is temporarily unavailable.

      • Misalignment of the axis of the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly.

      • A Malfunction in the forward recognition camera.

      • Forward recognition camera temporarily not available.

      When any problem occurs during stop retention control, or any of the following conditions is met:


      • The driver seat belt is unfastened

      • The driver door is opened

      • The vehicle is parked for a long period of time

      • The vehicle is driving on a steep hill

      • A preceding vehicle is not detected

    4. A headup display equipped vehicle indicates cutoffs in the head-up display when there is a vehicle approach warning.
