HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY (for LED Headlight) REASSEMBLY

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.


  1. INSTALL HEADLIGHT CORD

    *1 Grommet

    1. Connect the grommet to install the headlight cord.

    2. Attach the 3 guides.

    3. Connect the connector.

  2. INSTALL HEADLIGHT GASKET


    1. Install a new headlight gasket to the No. 1 headlight back cover.

  3. INSTALL NO. 1 HEADLIGHT BACK COVER


    1. Attach the guide to install the No. 1 headlight back cover.

    2. Install the screw.

  4. INSTALL HEADLIGHT LIGHT CONTROL ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Connect the connector.

      Turn the headlight light control ECU sub-assembly LH in the direction indicated by the arrow to install the headlight light control ECU sub-assembly LH.

  5. INSTALL HEADLIGHT LEVELING MOTOR BASE PACKING


    1. Install a new headlight leveling motor base packing to the headlight unit LH.

  6. INSTALL HEADLIGHT LEVELING MOTOR LH

    1. Insert the headlight leveling motor LH and turn the aiming screw in the direction of the arrow shown in the illustration to install the headlight leveling motor LH.

      Rotate the headlight leveling motor LH in the direction of the arrow shown in the illustration and attach the claw.

  7. INSTALL CLEARANCE LIGHT BULB

    1. Install the clearance light bulb to the headlight cord.

      Turn the headlight cord with the clearance light bulb in the direction indicated by the arrow to install them as a unit.

  8. INSTALL FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT BULB

    1. Install the front turn signal light bulb to the front turn signal light socket.

  9. INSTALL FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT SOCKET

    1. Turn the front turn signal light socket with the front turn signal light bulb in the direction indicated by the arrow to install them as a unit.

  10. INSTALL NO. 2 HEADLIGHT COVER LH


    1. Install the No. 2 headlight cover LH to the headlight unit LH.

  11. INSTALL NO. 1 HEADLIGHT BULB

    1. Turn the No. 1 headlight bulb in the direction indicated by the arrow to install it.

      Note

      Do not touch the No. 1 headlight bulb glass.
