WIPER AND WASHER SYSTEM PRECAUTION


  1. IGNITION SWITCH EXPRESSION

    The type of ignition switch used on this model differs according to the specifications of the vehicle. The expressions listed in the table below are used in this section.

    Expression Ignition Switch (Position) Engine Switch (Condition)
    Ignition switch off LOOK Off (Lock)
    Ignition switch ACC ACC On (ACC)
    Ignition switch ON ON On (IG)
    Engine start START On (Start)

  2. WASHER NOZZLE ADJUSTMENT PRECAUTION


    1. Using a 2 thin-bladed screwdrivers with its tip wrapped in protective tape, adjust the direction of the washer nozzle sub-assembly.

      Note

      Do not insert the screwdriver into the washer fluid spraying nozzle. Doing so may damage the washer fluid spraying nozzle, resulting in spraying problems.

      Tech Tips

      Use the upper and lower adjustment grooves of the nozzle to adjust the washer nozzle.
