  1. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR


    1. for Bar Type Radiator Grille:

        Disconnect the connector.

        Tech Tips

        The illustration is for the LH side. The orientation for the RH side is the opposite of the LH side.

        Disengage the 2 claws and remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor as shown in the illustration.

        Tech Tips

        The illustration is for the LH side. The orientation for the RH side is the opposite of the LH side.

    2. for Mesh Type Radiator Grille:

        Disconnect the connector.

        Disengage the 2 claws and remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor as shown in the illustration.

  3. REMOVE NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR

      Disconnect the connector.

      Disengage the 2 claws and remove the No. 2 ultrasonic sensor as shown in the illustration.

  4. REMOVE NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER

    Tech Tips


    • Perform this procedure only when replacement of the No. 2 ultrasonic sensor retainer is necessary.

    • When removing the No. 2 ultrasonic sensor retainer, heat the front bumper assembly and No. 2 ultrasonic sensor retainer using a heat light.


    1. Heat the front bumper assembly and No. 2 ultrasonic sensor retainer using a heat light at the specified temperature for 3 to 5 minutes.
