SHIFT PADDLE SWITCH INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

  1. INSTALL SHIFT PADDLE SWITCH (TRANSMISSION SHIFT SWITCH ASSEMBLY)

    1. Connect the 2 shift paddle switch (transmission shift switch assembly) connectors to install the No. 1 switch wire to the 2 shift paddle switches (transmission shift switch assemblies).

      1 to 3 mm (0.0394 to 0.118 in.)

      Install 2 new clamps as shown in the illustration.

    3. Engage the 5 guides to install the 2 shift paddle switches (transmission shift switch assemblies) with the No. 1 switch wire to the steering wheel assembly.

    4. Engage the guide.

    5. Install the 2 shift paddle switches (transmission shift switch assemblies) to the steering wheel assembly with the 2 screws.
