STARTER (for 2.2 kW Type) INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL STARTER ASSEMBLY

      Connect the ground cable and install the starter with the 2 bolts.

      Tech Tips

      Make sure to connect the ground cable with the bolt as shown in the illustration.

      Torque:
      68 N*m  { 693 kgf*cm, 50 ft.*lbf }

    2. Install the starter wire to terminal 30 with the nut.

      Torque:
      9.8 N*m  { 100 kgf*cm, 87 in.*lbf }

    3. Connect the starter connector.

  2. CONNECT CLUTCH RELEASE CYLINDER ASSEMBLY

    1. Install the release cylinder with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      12 N*m  { 120 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf }

  3. INSTALL FRONT FENDER SEAL


    1. Install the seal with the 5 clips.

  4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.
