RELAY ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT HEADLIGHT RELAY (H-LP Relay)


    1. Inspect the headlight relay (H-LP Relay)


      1. A004NAZE01

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        3 - 5 Battery voltage not applied to terminals 1 and 2 10 kΩ or higher
        Battery voltage applied to terminals 1 and 2 Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight relay (H-LP Relay).

  2. INSPECT HEADLIGHT DIMMER RELAY (DIMMER Relay)


    1. Inspect the headlight dimmer relay (DIMMER Relay)


      1. A004ROVE07

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        3 - 5 Battery voltage not applied to terminals 1 and 2 10 kΩ or higher
        Battery voltage applied to terminals 1 and 2 Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight dimmer relay (DIMMER Relay).

  3. INSPECT FOG LIGHT RELAY (FR FOG LIGHT LH Relay)


    1. Inspect the fog light relay (FR FOG LIGHT LH Relay)


      1. A004ROVE07

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        3 - 5 Battery voltage not applied to terminals 1 and 2 10 kΩ or higher
        Battery voltage applied to terminals 1 and 2 Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the fog light relay (FR FOG LIGHT LH Relay).

  4. INSPECT FOG LIGHT RELAY (FR FOG LIGHT RH Relay)


    1. Inspect the fog light relay (FR FOG LIGHT RH Relay)


      1. A004ROVE07

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        3 - 5 Battery voltage not applied to terminals 1 and 2 10 kΩ or higher
        Battery voltage applied to terminals 1 and 2 Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the fog light relay (FR FOG LIGHT RH Relay).

  5. INSPECT REAR FOG LIGHT RELAY (RR FOG Relay)


    1. Inspect the rear fog light relay (RR FOG Relay)


      1. A004ROVE07

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        3 - 5 Battery voltage not applied to terminals 1 and 2 10 kΩ or higher
        Battery voltage applied to terminals 1 and 2 Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the rear fog light relay (RR FOG Relay).

  6. INSPECT DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHT RELAY (DRL Relay)


    1. Inspect the daytime running light relay (DRL Relay)


      1. A004ROVE07

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        3 - 5 Battery voltage not applied to terminals 1 and 2 10 kΩ or higher
        Battery voltage applied to terminals 1 and 2 Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the daytime running light relay (DRL Relay).
