NAME PLATE(for Wagon) INSTALLATION

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

Tip:

When installing the name plates or emblem, heat the vehicle body and name plates or emblem using a heat light.

Note:

Do not heat the vehicle body, name plates or emblem excessively.

PROCEDURE

  1. INSTALL NO. 1 BACK DOOR EMBLEM

    1. Clean the vehicle body surface.

      1. Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body surface.

      2. Remove any remaining double-sided tape from the vehicle body.

      3. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

    2. Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body and a new No. 1 back door emblem.

    3. Remove the release paper from the No. 1 back door emblem.

      Tip:

      After removing the release paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

    4. Engage the 2 pins and install the No. 1 back door emblem as shown in the illustration.

  2. INSTALL BACK DOOR NAME PLATE

    1. Clean the vehicle body surface.

      1. Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body surface.

      2. Remove any remaining double-sided tape from the vehicle body.

      3. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

    2. Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body and a new back door name plate.

    3. Remove the release paper from the back door name plate.

      Tip:

      After removing the release paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

    4. Install the back door name plate as shown in the illustration.

  3. INSTALL NO. 2 BACK DOOR NAME PLATE

    1. Clean the vehicle body surface.

      1. Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body surface.

      2. Remove any remaining double-sided tape from the vehicle body.

      3. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

    2. Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body and a new No. 2 back door name plate.

    3. Remove the release paper from the No. 2 back door name plate.

      Tip:

      After removing the release paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

    4. Install the No. 2 back door name plate as shown in the illustration.
