HEADLIGHT RELAY (w/ Daytime Running Light Control) ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT HEADLIGHT RELAY (Marking: H-LP)

    1. Remove the engine room relay block cover.

    2. Remove the headlight relay from the engine room relay block.

    3. Inspect the headlight relay resistance.

      Standard resistance
      Terminal Connection Specified Condition
      3 - 5 10 kΩor higher
      3 - 5

      Below 1 Ω

      (when battery voltage is applied to terminals 1 and 2)

      If the result is not as specified, replace the relay.

    4. Install the headlight relay to the engine room relay block.

    5. Install the engine room relay block cover.
