PROCEDURE
PRECAUTION
Note:After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.
DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (for LHD with Entry and Start System)
Note:When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL (except Sedan)
REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (except Sedan)
REMOVE NO. 1 METER HOOD CLUSTER (except Sedan)
REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY (except Sedan)
REMOVE NO. 1 SWITCH HOLE BASE (except Sedan)
REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Sedan)
REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Sedan)
REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Sedan)
REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Sedan)
REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY (for Sedan)
REMOVE NO. 1 SWITCH HOLE BASE (for Sedan)
REMOVE COOLER (ROOM TEMP. SENSOR) THERMISTOR

Disengage the 2 claws.

Disconnect the connector and aspirator to remove the cooler (room temp. sensor) thermistor.
