  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT TRANSPONDER KEY COIL (IGNITION KEY CYLINDER LIGHT) (w/ Engine Immobiliser System)

      Component without harness connected

      (Transponder Key Coil (Ignition Key Cylinder Light))

      Apply battery voltage to the connector and check the light illumination condition.

      OK
      Condition Specified Condition

      Battery positive (+) → Terminal 2 (ILL+)

      Battery negative (-) → Terminal 4 (ILL-)

      		 Illuminates

      If the result is not as specified, replace the transponder key coil (ignition key cylinder light).

  2. INSPECT KEY CYLINDER LIGHT ASSEMBLY (w/o Engine Immobiliser System)


    1. B0028SIC01
      *a

      Component without harness connected

      (Key cylinder light assembly (Ignition Key Cylinder Light))

      Apply battery voltage to the connector and check the light illumination condition.

      OK
      Battery Connection Specified Condition

      Positive (+) → Terminal 2 (ILL+)

      Negative (-) → Terminal 6 (ILL-)

      		 Illuminates

      If the result is not as specified, replace the key cylinder light assembly (ignition key cylinder light).
