PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT SATELLITE SWITCH SET (VSC OFF SWITCH)

      Component without harness connected

      (Satellite Switch Set (VSC OFF Switch))

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G59-2 (+) - G59-7 (E) Switch pushed Below 50 Ω
      Switch not pushed 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the satellite switch set (VSC OFF switch).

      Component without harness connected

      (Satellite Switch Set (VSC OFF Switch))

      Apply battery voltage to the connector and check the illumination conditions.

      OK
      Measurement Condition Specified Condition

      Battery positive (+) → G59-1 (ILL+)

      Battery negative (-) → G59-8 (ILL-)

      		 Illuminates

      If the result is not as specified, replace the satellite switch set (VSC OFF switch).
