TRANSMISSION WIRE INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL TRANSMISSION WIRE


    1. Coat 2 new O-rings with ATF, and install them to the 2 temperature sensors.

    2. Coat a new O-ring with ATF and install it to the transmission wire connector.

    3. Install the transmission wire to the automatic transmission case sub-assembly with the bolt.

      Torque:
      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }
    4. B0028KDN09

      Connect the 7 connectors to the solenoid valves.

    5. Connect the ATF temperature sensor to the transmission valve body assembly with the bolt and lock plate.

      Torque:
      for bolt A
      10 N*m  { 102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf }
      for bolt B
      11 N*m  { 112 kgf*cm, 8 ft.*lbf }
      Bolt Length
      Item Length
      Bolt A 12 mm (0.472 in.)
      Bolt B 36 mm (1.42 in.)

  2. CONNECT ENGINE WIRE


    1. Connect the engine wire to the transmission wire.

      Tech Tips

      Push up the lever until the claw of the engine wire connector makes a connection sound.

  3. INSTALL VALVE BODY OIL STRAINER ASSEMBLY


    1. Coat a new O-ring with ATF and install it to the valve body oil strainer assembly.

    2. Install the valve body oil strainer assembly with the 4 bolts.

      Torque:
      10 N*m  { 102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf }

  4. INSTALL AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION OIL PAN SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Note

    Remove the gasket and be careful not to spill oil on the contacting surfaces of the transmission case and automatic transmission oil pan sub-assembly.

      *1 Magnet

      Install the 4 magnets.

    2. Install a new gasket on the automatic transmission oil pan sub-assembly.

    3. Install the automatic transmission oil pan sub-assembly with the 20 bolts.

      Torque:
      7.0 N*m  { 71 kgf*cm, 62 in.*lbf }

  5. INSTALL REAR ENGINE MOUNTING INSULATOR

  6. INSTALL NO. 3 FRAME CROSSMEMBER SUB-ASSEMBLY
