RELAY ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

  1. INSPECT EFI-MAIN

    1. E209082

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection

      Condition

      Specified Condition

      3 - 5

      No battery voltage is applied across terminals 1 and 2

      10 kΩ or higher

      3 - 5

      Battery voltage is applied across terminals 1 and 2

      Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the EFI MAIN relay.

  2. INSPECT EFI MAIN NO. 2 RELAY

    1. E209082

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection

      Condition

      Specified Condition

      3 - 5

      No battery voltage is applied across terminals 1 and 2

      10 kΩ or higher

      3 - 5

      Battery voltage is applied across terminals 1 and 2

      Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the EFI MAIN NO. 2 relay.

  3. INSPECT IG2 RELAY

    1. E209082

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection

      Condition

      Specified Condition

      3 - 5

      No battery voltage is applied across terminals 1 and 2

      10 kΩ or higher

      3 - 5

      Battery voltage is applied across terminals 1 and 2

      Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the IG2 relay.

  4. INSPECT EDU RELAY

    1. E209082

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection

      Condition

      Specified Condition

      3 - 5

      No battery voltage is applied across terminals 1 and 2

      10 kΩ or higher

      3 - 5

      Battery voltage is applied across terminals 1 and 2

      Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the EDU relay.
