PROCEDURE
REMOVE NO. 1 BACK DOOR NAME PLATE
REMOVE NO. 2 BACK DOOR NAME PLATE
REMOVE PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY (w/ Package Tray Trim)
REMOVE REAR FLOOR MAT ASSEMBLY
REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Separate Seat Type)
REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Bench Seat Type)
REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (for 3 Door)
REMOVE REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH (for 5 Door)
REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH (for 3 Door)
DISCONNECT FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH (for 3 Door)
DISCONNECT NO. 1 REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH (for 5 Door)
DISCONNECT NO. 1 REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH (for 3 Door)
REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH LH (for 5 Door)
REMOVE FRONT QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY LH (for 3 Door)
REMOVE INNER ROOF SIDE GARNISH COVER LH (w/o Luggage Compartment Room Light)
REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT ASSEMBLY (w/ Luggage Compartment Room Light)
REMOVE ROOF SIDE GARNISH END COVER LH (for 3 Door)
REMOVE INNER ROOF SIDE GARNISH LH (for 5 Door)
REMOVE INNER ROOF SIDE GARNISH LH (for 3 Door)
REMOVE REAR LIGHT COVER

Disengage the 6 claws to remove the rear light cover.

REMOVE CENTER STOP LIGHT ASSEMBLY
REMOVE BACK DOOR PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

Disengage the 2 claws and disconnect the grommet.
-
Disengage the grommet.
-
Remove the 4 bolts.
Disengage the 2 clips to remove the back door panel sub-assembly.
Remove the 2 grommets.
-
REMOVE REAR WIPER MOTOR ASSEMBLY
REMOVE BACK WINDOW LOCK STRIKER ASSEMBLY (w/o Entry and Start System)
REMOVE BACK WINDOW LOCK STRIKER ASSEMBLY (w/ Entry and Start System)

Disconnect the 2 connectors.
Disengage the 2 clamps to remove the back window lock striker assembly and glass hatch opener switch assembly.

REMOVE NO. 3 INDOOR ELECTRICAL KEY ANTENNA ASSEMBLY (w/ Entry and Start System)
REMOVE BACK DOOR STAY ASSEMBLY LH
REMOVE BACK DOOR STAY ASSEMBLY RH
Tip:Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
REMOVE BACK DOOR STAY COVER LH
REMOVE BACK DOOR STAY COVER RH
Tip:Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
REMOVE BACK DOOR GLASS

Disconnect the connector.
Disengage the clamp and disconnect the No. 1 back door wire.

Remove the 2 nuts and back door glass.
Note:To prevent damage, when removing the back door glass, make sure that there are enough people available to hold it securely.

REMOVE BACK DOOR HINGE COLLAR

Double-sided Tape
Separate the double-sided tape to remove the back door hinge collar.
Tip:Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

REMOVE BACK WINDOW GLASS CLIP

Double-sided Tape
Separate the double-sided tape to remove the back window glass clip.
Tip:Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

REMOVE NO. 2 WIRING HARNESS PROTECTOR COVER

Disengage the 2 claws to remove the No. 2 wiring harness protector cover.

REMOVE NO. 1 WIRING HARNESS PROTECTOR COVER

Disengage the 2 claws to remove the No. 1 wiring harness protector cover.

REMOVE NO. 1 BACK DOOR WIRE

Back Side
Disconnect the 2 connectors and remove the No. 1 back door wire.

REMOVE NO. 4 WIRING HARNESS PROTECTOR

Double-sided Tape
Separate the double-sided tape to remove the No. 4 wiring harness protector.

REMOVE NO. 3 WIRING HARNESS PROTECTOR

Double-sided Tape
Separate the double-sided tape to remove the No. 3 wiring harness protector.

REMOVE BACK DOOR HINGE RETAINER
-

Remove the bolt, back door hinge retainer and bush.
Tip:Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.
