LANE-KEEPING ASSIST SYSTEM Main Switch Circuit

DESCRIPTION

The driving support ECU receives lane-keeping assist system on/off signals from the lane-keeping assist main switch.

PROCEDURE


  1. READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (LANE-KEEPING ASSIST MAIN SWITCH)


    1. Use the Data List to check if the lane-keeping assist main switch is functioning properly.

      ON: Lane-keeping assist main switch on

  2. INSPECT LANE-KEEPING ASSIST MAIN SWITCH

    1. for LHD:

      Remove the lane-keeping assist main switch Click here.

    2. for RHD:

      Remove the lane-keeping assist main switch Click here.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      1 - 4 Lane-keeping assist main switch on Below 1 Ω
      Lane-keeping assist main switch off 10 kΩ or higher

      Disconnect the D36 switch connector.

    2. Disconnect the D14 ECU connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      D36-1 - Body ground
