WASHER MOTOR INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT WINDSHIELD WASHER MOTOR AND PUMP ASSEMBLY


    1. Disconnect the front washer motor and pump assembly connector.

      Tech Tips

      Make sure that the front washer motor and pump assembly is installed to the washer jar.

    2. Fill the washer jar with windshield washer fluid.

      Component without harness connected

      (Windshield Washer Motor and Pump Assembly)

      Check that the windshield washer fluid flows from the washer jar.

      OK
      Measurement Condition Specified Condition

      Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1

      Battery negative (-) → Terminal 2

      		 Windshield washer fluid flows from the washer jar

      If the result is not as specified, replace the windshield washer motor and pump assembly.
