DESCRIPTION

The multi-media interface ECU sends sound signals to the radio receiver assembly through this circuit.

If there is an open or short in the circuit, sound cannot be heard from the speakers even if there is no malfunction in the stereo component amplifier assembly, radio receiver assembly or speakers.

PROCEDURE

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-MEDIA INTERFACE ECU - RADIO RECEIVER)

    1. Disconnect the H27 multi-media interface ECU connector.

    2. Disconnect the H28 radio receiver assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
