DYNAMIC RADAR CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM


  1. OPERATION


    1. The combination meter assembly has a master warning light, cruise control indicator light (constant speed control mode), cruise control indicator light (vehicle-to-vehicle distance control mode), cruise SET indicator light, multi buzzer, and multi-information display to provide warnings and messages regarding the dynamic radar cruise control system.

    2. The multi-information display displays the set vehicle speed, vehicle ahead mark, and warning message.

    3. Examples are shown below for the illumination or display of each warning light or multi-information display.

      • Poor Weather Conditions

      • A Malfunction in the forward recognition camera

      • Misalignment of the axis of the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly

      • The forward recognition camera is temporarily unavailable

      • A system check is being performed after the engine has started

      The skid control buzzer sounds until the brake pedal is depressed.

      When any problem occurs during stop retention control, or any of the following conditions is met:


      • The driver seat belt is unfastened

      • The driver door is opened

      • The engine hood or luggage compartment door is opened

      • The vehicle is parked for a long period of time

      • The vehicle is driving on a steep hill

      • A preceding vehicle is not detected
