WHEEL OPENING MOULDING INSTALLATION

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL CENTER QUARTER OUTSIDE MOULDING LH

   Tip:

   When installing the center quarter outside moulding LH, heat the vehicle body and center quarter outside moulding LH using a heat light.

   Standard

   Item	Temperature
   Vehicle Body	40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F)
   Center Quarter Outside Moulding LH	20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)

   Note:

   Do not heat the vehicle body or center quarter outside moulding LH excessively.

   1. Clean the vehicle body surface.

      1. Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body surface.

      2. Remove the double-sided tape from the vehicle body surface.

      3. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

   2. 

      *a	Double-sided Tape

      Install a new center quarter outside moulding LH.

      1. Remove the peeling paper from the face of the center quarter outside moulding LH.

         Tip:

         After removing the peeling paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

      2. Attach the 9 clips to install the center quarter outside moulding LH.

         Tip:

         Press the center quarter outside moulding LH firmly to install it.

      3. Install the 2 clips and grommet.

2. INSTALL REAR WHEEL HOUSE FRONT PLATE LH

   1. Install the screw.

   2. Attach the clip to install the rear wheel house front plate LH.

3. INSTALL FRONT FENDER FRONT OUTSIDE MOULDING LH

   Tip:

   When installing the front fender front outside moulding LH, heat the vehicle body and front fender front outside moulding LH using a heat light.

   Standard

   Item	Temperature
   Vehicle Body	40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F)
   Front Fender Front Outside Moulding LH	20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)

   Note:

   Do not heat the vehicle body or front fender front outside moulding LH excessively.

   1. Clean the vehicle body surface.

      1. Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body surface.

      2. Remove the double-sided tape from the vehicle body surface.

      3. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

      *c	Clip B

      Install the front fender front outside moulding LH.

      1. Remove the peeling paper from the face of the front fender front outside moulding LH.

         Tip:

         After removing the peeling paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

      2. Attach the 8 clips to install the front fender front outside moulding LH.

         Tip:

         Press the front fender front outside moulding LH firmly to install it.

      3. Install the 5 grommets.

      4. Install the clip labeled A and clip labeled B.
