    1. The transmission control switch is installed inside the shift lever assembly to detect the M mode position and inform the ECM. The ECM indicates the shift position indicator M in the combination meter assembly via CAN.

    2. The transmission control switch detects whether the shift lever is in D or M, detects whether the shift lever is moved to "+" (shift-up) or "-" (shift-down) when the M mode is selected, and sends signals to the ECM. At this time, the ECM indicates the selected gear position in the combination meter assembly via CAN.

    3. The shift paddle switch is installed in the steering wheel. The ECM detects the operation of the shift paddle is "+" (shift-up) or "-" (shift-down) when the shift lever is in D or M.
