INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

1. REMOVE INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR COVER (w/o Pre-crash Safety System)

   
   

   1. w/ EC Mirror:

      
      

      1. 

         Slide the inner rear view mirror cover as shown in the illustration.

      2. 

         Disengage the 2 claws and remove the inner rear view mirror cover.

2. REMOVE NO. 2 FORWARD RECOGNITION COVER (w/ Pre-crash Safety System)

3. REMOVE NO. 1 FORWARD RECOGNITION COVER (w/ Pre-crash Safety System)

   Click here

4. REMOVE INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY (w/o Pre-crash Safety System)

   
   

   1. w/o EC Mirror:

      
      

      1. 

         Disengage the 2 claws and separate the inner mirror base cover.

      2. 

         Text in Illustration

         *1	Lock Lever

         Pull the lock lever in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration, and slide the inner rear view mirror assembly upward to remove it.

   2. w/ EC Mirror:

      
      

      1. 

         Disconnect the connector.

      2. Using a T20 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the screw.

      3. 

         Slide the inner rear view mirror assembly upward to remove it as shown in the illustration.

5. REMOVE INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY (w/ Pre-crash Safety System)

   
   

   1. w/o EC Mirror:

      
      

      1. 

         Using a T20 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the screw and inner rear view mirror assembly.

   2. w/ EC Mirror:

      
      

      1. 

         Disconnect the connector.

      2. Using a T20 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the screw and inner rear view mirror assembly.
