   Note

   After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

   CAUTION:

   Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

   

   Note

   When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

5. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL BOX DOOR SUB-ASSEMBLY

6. REMOVE CONTROL KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Cooler System)

7. REMOVE AIR INLET DAMPER CONTROL LEVER (for Manual Cooler System)

8. REMOVE INTEGRATION PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY WITH AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY (for Manual Cooler System)

9. DISCONNECT DEFROSTER DAMPER CONTROL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Cooler System)

10. DISCONNECT AIR INLET DAMPER CONTROL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Cooler System)

11. REMOVE CONTROL KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Air Conditioning System)

19. REMOVE TELLTALE LIGHT ASSEMBLY

    
    

    1. 

       for LHD:

       Detach the 4 claws and remove the telltale light assembly.

    2. 

       for RHD:

       Detach the 4 claws and remove the telltale light assembly.
