BACK DOOR CLOSER SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM

  1. DESCRIPTION

    1. The multiplex network door ECU controls the back door closer system functions. The back door closer system data and Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) can be read through the vehicle's Data Link Connector 3 (DLC3).

      When the system seems to be malfunctioning, use the GTS to check for malfunctions and perform repairs.

  3. INSPECT AUXILIARY BATTERY VOLTAGE

    1. Measure the auxiliary battery voltage with the ignition power switch off.

      Standard voltage

      11 to 14 V

      If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the auxiliary battery.
