CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM ROAD TEST
INSPECT SET SWITCH

Push the cruise control switch to on.

Cruise Control Indicator Light
Check that the cruise control indicator light illuminates on the combination meter assembly.
Drive the vehicle at a desired speed (between approximately 40 km/h and 200 km/h [25 mph and 125 mph]).

Press the cruise control switch to -SET.

Cruise Control SET Indicator Light
Check that the cruise control SET indicator light illuminates at this time.
After releasing the switch, check that the vehicle cruises at the desired speed.

INSPECT "+" SWITCH

Push the cruise control switch to on.
Drive the vehicle at a desired speed (between approximately 40 km/h and 200 km/h [25 mph and 125 mph]).

Press the cruise control switch to -SET.
Check that the vehicle speed increases while the cruise control switch is pulled up to +RES, and that the vehicle cruises at the set speed when the switch is released.

Momentarily press the cruise control switch upward to +RES and then immediately release it. Check that the vehicle speed increases by approximately 1.6 km/h (1.0 mph) (Tap-up function).

INSPECT "-" SWITCH

Push the cruise control control switch to on.
Drive the vehicle at a desired speed (between approximately 40 km/h and 200 km/h [25 mph and 125 mph]).

Press the cruise control switch to -SET.
Check that the vehicle speed decreases while the cruise control switch is pushed down to -SET, and the vehicle cruises at the set speed when the switch is released.
Momentarily press the cruise control switch downward to -SET, and then immediately release it. Check that the vehicle speed decreases by approximately 1.6 km/h (1.0 mph) (Tap-down function).

INSPECT CANCEL SWITCH

Push the cruise control switch to on.
Drive the vehicle at a desired speed (between approximately 40 km/h and 200 km/h [25 mph and 125 mph]).

Press the cruise control switch to -SET.
When performing one of the following, check that the cruise control system is canceled and that the normal driving mode is reset.
Depressing the brake pedal.
for Manual Transaxle:
Depressing the clutch pedal.
for U760F, U760E:
Moving the shift lever to any position except D or S (6th, 5th or 4th gear).
for U660E, K111, K111F:
Moving the shift lever to any position except D or M (6th, 5th or 4th gear).
w/ Shift Paddle Switch:
The transmission is changed from 4th gear to 3rd, 2nd or 1st gear with the shift paddle switch while the shift lever is in D or M.

Pulling the cruise control switch to CANCEL.

Pushing the cruise control switch to off.
Operating the VSC system.

INSPECT RES (RESUME) SWITCH

Push the cruise control switch to on.
Drive the vehicle at a desired speed (between approximately 40 km/h and 200 km/h [25 mph and 125 mph]).

Press the cruise control switch to -SET.
When performing one of the following, check that the cruise control system is canceled and that the normal driving mode is reset.
Depressing the brake pedal.
for Manual Transaxle:
Depressing the clutch pedal.
for U760F, U760E:
Moving the shift lever to any position except D or S (6th, 5th or 4th gear).
for U660F, K111, K111F:
Moving the shift lever to any position except D or M (6th, 5th or 4th gear).
w/ Shift Paddle Switch:
The transmission is changed from 4th gear to 3rd, 2nd or 1st gear with the shift paddle switch while the shift lever is in D or M.

Pulling the cruise control switch to CANCEL.

Pushing the cruise control switch to off.
Operating the VSC system.

After the cruise control switch is pulled up to +RES at a driving speed of more than 40 km/h (25 mph), check that the vehicle restores the speed before the cancellation.
