  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT

  2. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE

  3. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER INNER LH

  4. REMOVE REAR WHEEL

  5. SEPARATE REAR HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (w/ HID Headlight System)

      Remove the nut and separate the rear height control sensor sub-assembly LH from the rear No. 2 suspension arm assembly LH.

  6. SEPARATE STABILIZER LINK SUB-ASSEMBLY (for LH Side)


    1. A004JXR

      Remove the bolt, nut and separate the rear stabilizer link sub-assembly from the rear No. 2 suspension arm assembly LH.

  7. SEPARATE REAR NO. 2 SUSPENSION ARM ASSEMBLY LH

      Loosen the nut on the rear suspension member side.

      Note

      Do not remove the nut.

    2. A004IW1

      Remove the bolt, nut and separate the rear shock absorber with coil spring from the rear No. 2 suspension arm assembly LH.

    3. A004JI3

      Remove the bolt, nut and separate the rear axle carrier sub-assembly LH from the rear No. 2 suspension arm assembly LH.

  8. REMOVE REAR SHOCK ABSORBER WITH COIL SPRING


    1. A004IPK

      Remove the 2 nuts and rear shock absorber with coil spring.

      Note

      Hold the rear shock absorber with coil spring to prevent it from falling accidentally.
