BACK DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH(for Lower Side) REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE

  1. INSTALL UPPER BACK DOOR GARNISH MOULDING PROTECTOR

    Tip:

    When installing the upper back door garnish moulding protector, heat the lower back door outside garnish sub-assembly using a heat light.

    20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)

    Note:

    Do not heat the lower back door outside garnish sub-assembly excessively.

    1. Clean the lower back door outside garnish sub-assembly surface.

      1. Using a heat light, heat the lower back door outside garnish sub-assembly surface.

      2. Remove the double-sided tape from the lower back door outside garnish sub-assembly.

      3. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

    2. Install a new upper back door garnish moulding protector as shown in the illustration.

      1. Using a heat light, heat the lower back door outside garnish sub-assembly.

      2. Remove the peeling paper from the face of the upper back door garnish moulding protector.

        Tip:

        After removing the peeling paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

      3. Align the upper back door garnish moulding protector with the mark-off line of the lower back door outside garnish sub-assembly, and then install it.

        Tip:

        Press the upper back door garnish moulding protector firmly to install it.

  2. INSTALL LOWER BACK DOOR GARNISH MOULDING PROTECTOR

    Tip:

    When installing the lower back door garnish moulding protector, heat the lower back door outside garnish sub-assembly using a heat light.

    2. Install 7 new lower back door garnish moulding protectors as shown in the illustration.

      1. Using a heat light, heat the lower back door outside garnish sub-assembly.

      2. Remove the peeling paper from the face of the 7 lower back door garnish moulding protectors.

        Tip:

        After removing the peeling paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

      3. Align the 7 lower back door garnish moulding protectors with the mark-off line of the lower back door outside garnish sub-assembly, and then install it.

        Tip:

        Press the lower back door garnish protector firmly to install it.
