GENERATOR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

  1. INSTALL GENERATOR ASSEMBLY

    1. A294376C01

      Install the generator assembly with the 2 bolts.

      for bolt A

      35 N*m

      357 kgf*cm

      26 ft.*lbf

      for bolt B

      54 N*m

      551 kgf*cm

      40 ft.*lbf

    2. A208968

      Connect the wire harness to terminal B and install the nut.

      9.8 N*m

      100 kgf*cm

      87 in.*lbf

    3. Connect the connector and 2 clamps.

    4. Install the terminal cap.

  2. INSTALL V-RIBBED BELT

  3. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE COVER (w/ No. 1 Engine Cover)

  4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
