Rear Window Defogger System
The rear window defogger system uses the heater wires on the rear window glass to defog the rear window glass.
This system is controlled by the air conditioning amplifier assembly.
The rear window defogger system operates together with the mirror heater system. (Models with mirror heater system)
Windshield Glass/Window Glass (Models with Water Repellent Coating)
The front door glass sub-assemblies are fitted with water repellent coated glass to increase visibility in rain.

Windshield Deicer System (Models with Windshield Deicer System)
The windshield deicer system uses a heater element in the windshield glass to help reduce the formation of ice where the front wipers park.

The heated windshield defroster uses a heater element in the windshield glass to help defrost the windshield.
This system is controlled by the air conditioning amplifier assembly.
