OUTLINE

1. Lightweight and Highly Rigid Body

   1. Using high-strength sheet steel and ultra high-strength sheet steel reduces weight and ensures rigidity together with an optimized frame joint structure and optimal positioning of reinforcement members.

2. Safety Features

   1. The body has a structure that can distribute energy to many members to increase absorption of collision energy and a high strength framework that can control the deformation of the cabin and help secure sufficient survival space.

3. Rust-resistant Body

   1. Rust-resistance performance is enhanced by extensive use of anti-corrosion sheet steel, as well as by anti-corrosion treatments that include the application of anti-rust wax, sealer and anti-chipping paint to parts that corrode easily, such as the hood and rocker panels.

4. Low Vibration and Low Noise Body

   1. By connecting braces and reinforcements to the body panels, panel vibration has been reduced. Changes in the structure of body panels also reduce panel vibration.A body structure which reduces body panel frame movement ensures low noise levels.

   2. Effective application of vibration damping and noise suppressant materials reduces engine, wind and road noise.

5. Aerodynamics

   1. The surface where the front pillar meets the windshield has been leveled off and the shape around the doors and rockers has been smoothed, effectively reducing separation.

   2. Various types of airflow routing parts are provided under the floor, and an under cover is provided to make the under body flat in order to ensure excellent aerodynamic performance.

6. Parts with Low Repair Cost

   1. Rear end parts are connected by bolts, ensuring ease of repair.

      1. The styling of the window flows the full length of the vehicle, generating the impression of a larger vehicle. By increasing the slope of the window profile, the impression of agility and readiness to go has been emphasized.

      2. By tilting the rear combination lights forward, the impression of readiness to go has been emphasized.

      1. By utilizing the rear quarter pillar and shortening the length of the window profile, the impression of agility of the 3-door model has been emphasized.

3. Rear View

   1. As with the front of the vehicle, the soft styling of the rear center is contrasted against the hard styling of the outer edge of the vehicle. The trapezoidal styling of the lower bumper emphasizes its fine stance.

   2. To enhance the stance, the cabin has been trimmed and a hexagonal rear window styling has been adopted to emphasize the impression of broadness.

   3. The styling of the rear combination lights emphasizes the impression of broadness from the rear, and readiness to go from the side view due to their forward tilt. By modifying the corner edge of the rear combination lights, the aerodynamic performance has been enhanced.
