THERMOSTAT REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER

  2. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT

    Click here

  3. REMOVE NO. 2 WATER BY-PASS HOSE

      Slide the 2 clamps and remove the No. 2 water by-pass hose from the No. 4 water by-pass pipe and radiator reservoir assembly.

  4. DISCONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE

  5. REMOVE NO. 4 WATER BY-PASS PIPE

    1. A116608

      Remove the bolt and No. 4 water by-pass pipe.

    2. Remove the O-ring from the No. 4 water by-pass pipe.

  6. REMOVE WATER INLET

    1. A196775

      Remove the 3 bolts and water inlet.

  7. REMOVE THERMOSTAT

    1. Remove the thermostat.

    2. Remove the gasket from the thermostat.
