  1. POWER DOOR LOCK SYSTEM DESCRIPTION


    1. The power door lock control system locks/unlocks all the doors.


      1. All doors are locked when the door control switch (for manual operation) is operated to lock, and that all doors are unlocked when the switch is operated to unlock.

      2. All doors are locked when the key in the driver's or front passenger's* door key cylinder is turned to lock, and that all doors are unlocked when the key is turned to unlock.

        Functions Outlines
        Manual lock and unlock This function can lock or unlock all doors by the door control switch operation.
        Key-linked lock and unlock function This function, which is linked with the key cylinder, can lock or unlock all the doors when lock or unlock operation is affected.
        Door lock security function

        If either of the conditions below is met, driver's door manual unlocking is prohibited.


        • With the ignition switch off and the driver's door closed, when the door is locked with the key-linked lock or wireless door lock.


        • With the ignition switch off and the driver's door locked (driver's door open and locked), when the driver's door is locked approximately 0.25 seconds after it is closed.
        Key confine prevention function (w/o Smart Entry and Start System) When the key is inserted in the ignition key cylinder and the driver's door is open, this function does not establish manual locking or key-linked locking.
        Key confine prevention function (w/ Smart Entry and Start System) When the electrical key transmitter sub-assembly is in the vehicle and the driver's door is open, this function does not establish manual locking or key-linked locking.
        Door lock with transmitter function (w/ Wireless Door Lock Control System) Pressing the door lock switch of the transmitter locks all doors.
        Door unlock with transmitter function (w/ Wireless Door Lock Control System) Pressing the door unlock switch of the transmitter unlocks all doors.
        Door lock with entry function (w/ Smart Entry and Start System) Pressing the trigger switch on the front door outside handle assembly RH of the driver door while carrying the electrical key transmitter sub-assembly locks all doors.
        Door unlock with entry function (w/ Smart Entry and Start System) Pressing the trigger switch on the front door outside handle assembly RH of the driver door while carrying the electrical key transmitter sub-assembly unlocks all doors.
