LANE DEPARTURE ALERT SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK


  1. CHECK LANE DEPARTURE ALERT MAIN SWITCH OF STEERING PAD SWITCH ASSEMBLY


    1. Check steering pad switch assembly


      1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

        Confirm that the LDA indicator (green) in the combination meter assembly illuminates or turns off when the lane departure alert main switch of the steering pad switch assembly is pressed.

        Tech Tips

        The ON/OFF status of the lane departure alert system remains unchanged when the ignition switch is turned off and back to ON.

    2. Check steering pad switch assembly (switch warning sensitivity)


      1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

      2. Check that the warning sensitivity switching display (High/Normal) on the multi-information display switches using the customization function (LDA settings) of the combination meter, and check that the sensitivity of the lane departure alert system changes accordingly.
