FUEL FILTER REPLACEMENT

PROCEDURE

  1. DISCHARGE FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note:

    • After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work (Click here).

    • When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Click here).

  3. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH

  4. DISCONNECT FUEL HOSE

    1. Disconnect the hose from the clamp.

      Disconnect the fuel hose (Click here).

  5. DISCONNECT FUEL MAIN TUBE

      Disconnect the fuel main tube (Click here).

  6. REMOVE FUEL FILTER ASSEMBLY

    1. A231591

      Remove the 3 bolts and fuel filter.

  7. INSTALL FUEL FILTER ASSEMBLY

    1. Install the fuel filter with the 3 bolts.

      7.0 N*m

      71 kgf*cm

      62 in.*lbf

  8. CONNECT FUEL MAIN TUBE

    1. Connect the fuel main tube (Click here).

  9. CONNECT FUEL HOSE

    1. Connect the fuel hose (Click here).

    2. Connect the hose to the clamp.

  10. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH

  11. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Click here).

  12. INSPECT FOR FUEL LEAK
