ENGINE SWITCH REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

  1. PRECAUTION

    Note:

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 METER HOOD CLUSTER (for LHD)

  4. REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL (for LHD)

  5. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

  6. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

  7. REMOVE NO. 1 SWITCH HOLE BASE (for LHD)

  8. REMOVE ENGINE SWITCH (for LHD)

      Disengage the 2 claws and remove the engine switch.

  9. REMOVE NO. 1 METER HOOD CLUSTER (for RHD)

  10. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

  11. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH (for RHD)

  12. REMOVE UPPER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RHD)
