DESCRIPTION
for 6 Speakers:
If there is a short in a speaker circuit, the radio and display receiver assembly detects it and stops output to the speakers.
Thus sound cannot be heard from the speakers even if there is no malfunction in the radio and display receiver assembly or speakers.
for 8 Speakers:
If there is a short in a speaker circuit, the stereo component amplifier assembly detects it and stops output to the speakers.
Thus sound cannot be heard from the speakers even if there is no malfunction in the stereo component amplifier assembly or speakers.

Disconnect the L36 and L41 radio and display receiver assembly connectors.
Disconnect the N1 and O1 front No. 1 speaker assembly connectors.
Disconnect the I2 and I3 front No. 2 speaker assembly connectors.
Disconnect the P3 and Q3 rear speaker assembly connectors.
Measure the resistance between each of the front No. 2 speaker assemblies and the radio and display receiver assembly to check for an open circuit in the wire harness.

When there is a possibility that either the right or left front speaker is defective, inspect by interchanging the right one with the left one.

Disconnect the L30 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.
Disconnect the N1 and O1 front No. 1 speaker assembly connectors.
Disconnect the I4 and I5 front No. 2 speaker assembly connectors (for LHD).
Disconnect the I6 and I7 front No. 2 speaker assembly connectors (for RHD).
Disconnect the P3 and Q3 rear speaker assembly connectors.
Disconnect the P5 and Q5 rear No. 2 speaker assembly connectors.
Measure the resistance between each of the front No. 1 speaker assemblies and the stereo component amplifier assembly to check for an open circuit in the wire harness.
